This multidisciplinary course explores sustainable engineering and societal transitions. Students examine advanced methodologies in Sustainable Resources/Mining and the development of Sustainable Materials for Building to minimise environmental impact. The curriculum addresses the shift toward a circular economy by analysing Circular Energy Production & Consumption, focusing on renewable systems and waste reduction. Intertwined with these technical frameworks, the Humanities for Transitions component provides vital ethical, historical, and cultural perspectives on global sustainability challenges. Graduates will possess the critical thinking and technical skills required to design resilient infrastructures and lead meaningful ecological transitions across global industries.
