The course aims to train students in the design of Sustainable Energy and Transport/Mobility Systems and their evaluation with environmental, energy and economic criteria. Particular emphasis is placed on environmental impact analysis, measurement and monitoring systems, noise control, the use of alternative fuels in transport (biofuels, electricity, etc.). Also in the management of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving systems (regional-local energy planning, sustainable management of natural resources, Life Cycle Analysis), Biofuels (use of biofuels for heating buildings, assessment of the technically and economically available potential), Solar air conditioning (design of active solar air conditioning systems, technical and economic evaluation), Analysis of Environmental Impacts from the use of Energy Systems, Evaluation of Renewable Energy Sources projects in conditions of uncertainty.
